As the development of science and technology, traditional machining industry has beengradually instead by CNC machining. And the CNC system is the core component of the CNCmachine tools, therefore, the performance of CNC machine tools, mainly depends on thenumerical control system. The computer numerical control (CNC) is a large and complexsystem, which consists of the graphical user interface (GUI), the task layer (TASK),themotion control layer (MOT), the driver layer (Driver), and the input and output (I/O).Nowdomestic machine tool plant application of numerical control system is mostly single-channelcontrol, that is, one machine can only be completed one process of processing at the sametime, the efficiency of production is relatively low, and diverse processing methods can not beachieved. Even there is individual company can produce dual-channel system, but justrealized through changing hardware, so it is not the true sense of the dual-channel system. It’sshort of flexibility, costs highly, and can be transformed very low. The control technology ofmulti-channel on CNC system is the very important function in high-end CNC system, andhas a wide range of application requirements in the industrial production of compositeprocessing, flexible production lines, and so on.This paper does some study and research on the problems of using in multi-channel, suchas displayed on the user interface, parameter configuration and programming control. Usingthe device number of the axis number an the axis parameters of the channel parameters, wecan through using the real-time control system (RCS) and the hardware abstraction layer(the HAL) to achieve connectivity and integration within the NC system, with thedual-channel or multi-channel processing software, mapping from the user programming shaftto the physical axis. This paper raises a method to achieve cooperative control multi-channel,which using G code, and also designed the control instruction of waiting between channels,inter-channel exchange, and so on. In order to achieve the macro variables shared betweenchannels, divided in the user variable domain of macro of shared variables control formulti-channel area.
