The development of science and technology not only renews the aesthetic constantly butalso provides the multi-ways under the crossover cooperation in costume design. This articlecomprehensive and systematic exposition of its shape, decoration and application of brandcostume, by using the Chinese architectural elements as the main object of study. And, theaims of this article is to make deep analysis of the intersection between the Chinesearchitecture and its elements and costumes design so that it can be applied to the field ofmodern fashion design, to seek for the appropriate methods for the design of applicationpractice through studying the interrelation of Chinese architectural elements and brandcostume. It also tries to combines traditional art with modern design in hope of laying thefoundation for integrating the Chinese architectural elements into the modern brand costumedesign.The first part mainly analyzes the research status both at home and abroad in order toclarify the writing context, research methods and its significance.The second part interprets the classification of Chinese architectures, identifying andanalyzing the main object of study. It studies the shape of Chinese building roofs, illustratesthe way, lists the diverse roof shapes, clarifies causes and extracts geometry models. Itprovides a reference for better grasp of the elements of the shape in the brand costume design,for better expression a sense of space for the costume.Analysis, induction combined with detailed pictures are employed in the study of Chinesearchitectural roof decoration. To start with, the study focuses on three aspects of thedecorative colors, decorative patterns and decorative materials; It analyzes the characteristicsof the decorative patterns through the primary colors, auxiliary colors; the characteristics ofdecorative color through composition effects, composition forms and of materials; thecharacteristics of material through composition ways and class causes. It is useful to applyelements to costume design with mastering characteristics of colors, patterns, materials.The third part interprets the clothing brands. On the one hand, it clarifies the mainfeatures of the brand clothing and design requirements; On the other hand, in order to providea theoretical and practical basis for the application of the elements, it analyzes andsummarizes the relationship between Chinese building elements and brand costume byanalyzing space materials and the human body, architecture and the artistic aesthetic of theclothing and construction and clothing culture communication. Part IV and Part V summarize data and characteristics of elements in the view ofclothing design. This article puts forward some methods of applying Chinese buildingelements to clothing design by means of conventional fabrics with unconventional fabrics,clothing profile shape and internal structure, clothing, color and pattern and technology on thebasis of elements. It also analyzes the relevant brand designs and projects practice combiningwith the current popular trends.
