From global view, resource, environment and population are recognized as the three main problems for humankind’s sustainable development. As we all know, the agricultural residue is giant, in which contain a huge number of biomass energy. It will begreat to the use of the agricultural waste comprehensively by turning it into resourceswitch can be available for human beings. In this way, it can alleviate the current strained situation of energy, reduce environmental pollution and promote sustainable andhealthy development of agriculture. China is an agricultural country, and it products large amounts of agricultural residue every year. Due to the lack of appropriate technologies, large number of crops straw were burn or decayed naturally, and livestock manure discharged directly into the environment without any treatment. It is a waste of resources which polluted the environment seriously. The main composition of agricultural residue is cellulose, including crop straw, animal manure and other agricultural wastes. And the degradation of cellulose rely on cellulose-degrading bacteria. Cellulose-decomposing bacteria produce and secrete cellulose which can degradate the cellulose materials into small molecular substances like monosaccharide, disaccharide or oligosaccharides. These small molecular substances are more easily be absorbed and utilizated by edible fungi or animals than cellulose-macromolecule, which improves the conversion of cellulosic material. So the development ofhigh efficient cellulolytic bacteria is a prerequisite for rational application of cellulosematerials. This study aims at isolating strains which are related to cellulose-degrading, and manufacture microbial agent. The microbial agent will be applied tentatively to thepretreatment of raw material for edible fungi.254strains were isolated from high temperature fermentation cultivation which composed with perennial stacked straw and rotted animal stool. There are34bacteria strains,24actinomycetes and9fungi.Screening the34bacteria strains with the method of Congo red and CMC-Na, we found12strains have clear red hydrolysis spot, which means these strains are related to cellulose production. Then these12strains were inoculated into flat mediums, checking their antagonistic action between them. Theresult demonstrated that the strain#B11had antagonistic action on the strain#B3a nd the strain#B30. Then we got the microbial mixturet by grouping the11strainswithout the strain#B11. By checking the CMC Cellulase activity of the strains, we found all of the11strains had a high CMCase activity and t he mixture of the11bacteria had higher activity than each single one. At last, the mixed bacteria was applied on the fermentation of corn straw, and the result indicate the mixed bacteria indeed have practical value.
