That great majority of the resin dissolved in petroleum ether showed that the chemical compositions of the resin are mostly small-polarity. Using a variety of chromatographic separation methods,I tried to isolate monomeric compounds from peat resine for the first time. And firstly I isolated monomer compounds from Shiping peat resin, such as ursolic acid.In summary,I got a preliminary understanding of the main chemical components of Yunnan Shiping peat resin by research, and isolated some monomer compounds These preliminary resaults make the early exploratory for further research.
