Appraisal And Application Of Peat Resources On The Basis Of The Chinese Peat Information System

Peat is an important natural resource. There has many kinds of peat in our country and it is one of the richest countries in the world. Through Mapinfo's platform as the research approach, this paper has dealt with an amount of materials of the peat resource and set up the systematic database of resources. All of these are based on the result of predecessors'research and survey report of Chinese peat resource. At same time I have collected and stored up the information of Chinese peat resources overall by the function of Mapinfo's platform .The system has many functions such as sighting information, recalling inquiry about information, renewing data, putting out data, etc. And it also can give service to the information of relative peat resources. Using this system to appraise peat resources of China, we get three attributive peas. of different types, such as the peat with rich nutrition; the peat with middle nutrition and the peat with poor nutrition. We also get six peat of different type with different nature, such as the peat with high organic;the peat with middle organic; the peat with low organic; the peat with feeble decomposition; the peat with middle decomposition ; The peat with strong decomposition. Meanwhile we get nine peat of differ types with different appliance, such as the moss peat with feeble decomposition and high organic; the herbage peat with middle decomposition and low organic;the herbage peat with middle decomposition and high organic; the herbage peat with middle decomposition and middle organic; the herbage peat with strong decomposition and low organic; the wooden peat with low decomposition and low organic;the wooden peat with middle decomposition and middle organic; the wooden peat with strong decomposition and low organic; The wooden peat with strong decomposition and high organic. In the end we have made pictures of reserves and space distributing of them. At last the paper generally introduces the exploring and using condition of inside and outside. It has reality meaning to perfect information system of Chinese peat resource and to promote modern administrate of Chinese peat resources. The appraising results of information system have referring value for developing and using of peat resources.
