With the development of plastic industry, more and more plasticizer was developed and applied, but the traditional plasticizer environmental protection and security is gradually valued by humans. Based on the requirements of environmental safety and health, countries have introduced various laws and regulations to regulate and restrict the use of environmentally friendly plasticizer. The adjacent benzene two formic acid ester plasticizer alternative development and application has become a hot issue in current research. Have a "permanent type polyester plasticizer" reputation of the plasticizer with its excellent durability, oil resistance, high temperature resistance and environmental protection was favored by researchers.Polycaprolactone (PCL) is a polyester by a plastic agent, it has good compatibility with polymers, has excellent flexibility, processability and heat stability. Since its inception has been widely used in biodegradable material, medical material and plasticizer etc.Poly(L-lactic acid)(PLA) is a kind of completely biodegradable polymer which is derived from renewable plant resources. It’s a thermoplastic aliphatic polyester with high strength, high modulus. PLA is the one of the most bioplastics in production and consumption with broad prospects in industrial, agricultural, and medical and health industry.Although the PLA has many excellent properties,the application of the PLA is limited because of many problems caused by its slowly speed and the low degree of crystallinity. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to research and development, which can meet the requirements of polylactic acid modified by plasticizer plasticizer, and to explore the effect of plasticizer agents on the plasticizing properties, crystallization properties of poly lactic acid, mechanical properties and traditional plasticizers phthalic acid ester (DOP) contrast.In this study, through the single factor experiment method to determine the optimum process conditions of the synthesis of polycaprolactone:zinc acetate catalyst in the reaction system by adding0.2%,120℃for4hours. By IR, GPC and a series of characterization methods were used to characterize the structure and molecular weight of synthetic out of polycaprolactone. Then according to the different proportions of polycaprolactone plasticizer was added to the poly lactic acid, to test its performance by a torque rheometer, DSC, tensile testing machine, impact testing machine etc. The test results show that, PCL and PLA compatibility is very good, can be1:1instead of DOP; improved significantly after the addition of PCL, in the PLA plasticizing performance of glass transition temperature decreased and the crystallization behavior of PLA also have certain contribution; due to the effect of the crystallinity increases, the mechanical properties of PLA had no obvious improvement. Thus, polycaprolactone polylactide plasticizing effect certain because of the base resin crystallinity of contribution, the plasticizing effect did not achieve the desired objective, which need further study in the future work.
