A plasticizer is a kind of auxiliary agent in the thermoplastic resin of polyvinyl chloride(hereinafter referred to as PVC).The traditional plasticizers of phthalates would appear migration,leaching,volatilization and other phenomena in different degrees during the use process,and there is a certain safety risk.Especially in products directly exposed to human body,health and safety are more threatening.At present,The famous International Agency for Research on Cancer has listed Diethylene phthalate(2-ethylhexyl)Ester(DEHP)as a possible carcinogen.Based on this background,more and more scientific research institutions and medical departments have devoted more energy to the research on the toxic rational direction of DEHP.It is found that DEHP has carcinogenic potential for animal embryos,viscera and digestive system,including mammals.Therefore,it is urgently needed to research and develop new environmental non-toxic plasticizers.Cyclohexane-1,2-dicarboxylic acid diisooctyl Ester(DEHCH)was synthesized by using concentrated sulfuric acid as catalyst to catalyze the esterification reaction of hexachlorophenanhydride and isooctyl alcohol.The effects of reaction temperature,reaction time,molar ratio of alcohol to anhydride and amount of catalyst on the esterification rate of PVC in concentrated sulfuric acid catalytic system were investigated.The effects of DEHCH on the properties of PVC were emphatically studied.The plasticity of DEHCH was compared with Cyclohexane-1,2-diisonyl dimethyl acid(DINCH),Triisooctyl perphenate(TOTM),Tributyl acetylcitrate(ATBC)and DEHP,and the interaction of DEHCH with DINCH,TOTM and ATBC was also discussed.The plasticizing property of timing.The following four conclusions are drawn from the following conclusions:(1)DEHCH was synthesized with concentrated sulfuric acid as catalyst,the optimum conditions were as follows:the catalyst amount was 0.20%of the mass of HHPA,the alcohol anhydride molar ratio of was 2.38:1,the reaction temperature was 170?,the reaction time was 1.5h,the esterification rate could reach 98.40%.(2)The molecular structure of the synthetic product DEHCH was characterized by organic element analysis,IR analysis,NMR analysis,and GC-MS analysis,which proved to be the target substance of cyclohexane 1,2-dicarboxylic acid diisooctyl Ester.And through the GC-MS analysis,it was found that the content of DEHCH in the product was 99.178%,of which the CIS structure accounted for 97.668%.And the synthesis product DEHCH has similar or even better performance than foreign products.DEHCH plasticized PVC is ideal in terms of optical properties(light permeability and fog),stability properties(hardness,brittle temperature)and mechanical properties(tensile strength,100%fixed-modulus,fracture elongation).There is no significant difference between DEHCH and other plasticizers,and they can fuse complementary defects with DINCH,TOTM,and ATBC during intermixing.The synthetic DEHCH new plasticizer was selected for PVC medical reinforced tracheal intubation production.Its physical and toxicological properties meet the requirements and have the value of promotion and application.
