Recently, unique multi-phonon resonance Raman scattering fingerprintcharacteristic of ZnS nanocrystals has attracted more attention and has been used inbiodetection. Exploiting their functionalization, and improving the biodetectionsensitivity and detection efficiency have become the key challenges. In thisdissertation, superparamagnetic Fe3O4nanoparticles with magnetic separation andmagnetic enrichment were introduced to prepare multifunctional Fe3O4/ZnSnanocomposites. The structures, the morphologies, the magnetic and opticalproperties of these nanocomposites were investigated. The details are as follows:The ZnS nanoparticles were prepared via thermal decomposition method. Theinfluences of the amounts of S on the composition, the morphology and the opticalproperties of the nanoparticles were investigated. The optimized experimentalcondition for preparing small ZnS Nanoparticles was determined. It provides a newand “green” synthesis method for the controlled preparation of sphalerite ZnSnanoparticles.Fe3O4nanoparticles were used as seeds to prepared Fe3O4/ZnS nanocompositesvia thermal decomposition method. Fe3O4/ZnS nanocomposites simultaneouslypossessed the optical properties of ZnS and superparamagnetic properties of Fe3O4.The proportion of ZnS affect on the intensity of Raman signals of Fe3O4/ZnSnanocomposites.. Such nanocomposites are expected to be used in biolabelling, bioseparation, biodetection, drug transportation and so on.
