A lot of water is using in the slaughter and meat processing process,at the same time there are grease, hair, bits of meat, livestock and poultry offal debris, undigested food and fecal pollution substances in the wastewater, but also a large numberof such waste water contains on the human health harmful microorganisms. Meatprocessing wastewater directly discharged without treatment, the water will cause seriousenvironmental pollution, it harms to the health of human and animal. It is very necessaryto remove pollution of slaughter meat processing wastewater to protect the ecologicalenvironment and human health.“The SH-A energy saving process of strengthen biological for removal of nitrogen andcarbon” was adopted in the field, The test results show that, by using the "SH-A process "treatment of slaughterhouse wastewater biological treatment of the limit temperature is15℃, when the temperature was below15℃, CODcr of water can not achieve the " meatprocessing industrial water pollutant discharge standard "(GB13457-92level). Becausethe water is not stable, it often causes a biochemical system water pH value fluctuation(6.8~8). By through to the1#SH-A pool for processing Na2CO3to maintain the entiresystem of sewage treatment pH. SH-A biochemical reaction system in the control ofpH>7.4, the effluent of ammonia values are less than15mg/L, it can reach the standard ofdischarge, with satisfactory results. In the test, doing the work about system operation conditions and effects todetermine the " SH-A process " using to slaughterhouse wastewater. The result showedthat SH-A process on slaughterhouse wastewater with high processing capacity. In theinfluent CODcr is1000~1200mg/L, ammonia nitrogen is70~80mg/L, in the effluentCODcr is less than80mg/L, NH4+-N is less than15mg/L, CODcr removal rate reachedmore than92%, the removal rate of NH4+-N can reach above85%, the effluent waterreaches the " meat processing industry water pollutant emissions "(GB13457-92level)requirements.
