Our country is one of the biggest production and exporter of silk goods in the world. Rawsilk production process performance of the equipment has a significant impact on China’s silkindustry. The wind mechanism is a important part of silk reeling machine In the raw silkproduction and the traverse mechanism is the core of wind mechanism.The function of traversemechanism is to make the winding on the small strips forming wire mesh sheet.The formingquality of raw silk has a close relationship to the motion characteristics of the traversemechanism.This paper put forward a new type of gear drive type—fourier curve non-circulargear,based on the research on the non-circular gear drive type at home and abroad and on theperformance characteristics of the traverse mechanism of domestic automatic silk reelingmachine.And this paper put forward a new traverse mechanism based on hybrid order fouriercurve non-circular gear and verify the feasibility of the new traverse mechanism by modelinganalysis,optimization and simulation which has a certain positive effect to promote thedevelopment of silk industry in China.Main research work of this paper is as follows:1. This paper firstly analyzes the domestic and foreign research status of non-circular geardrive type and put forward a new type of gear drive type—fourier curve non-circular gear(Patentnumber:201210185590.0),establish the mathematical model of fourier curve non-circular geardrive type and write auxiliary analysis software to analyse and summarize the kineticcharacteristic and advantage of fourier curve non-circular gear.2. Put forward a new traverse mechanism based on hybrid order fourier curve non-circulargear which is on the basis of the analysis of the characteristics and defects of domestic automaticsilk reeling machine traverse mechanism.3. Develop auxiliary analysis and optimization software on the basis of the traversemechanism based on hybrid order fourier curve Fourier Curve,simulate the winding on the small strips forming wire mesh sheet in real work and reverse design the mechanism parameters on thetargets of the ideal forming shape.4. Use UG software to do3d entity modeling and virtual assembly of the new traversemechanism according to the optimization of the mechanism parameters,use ADAMS software todo motion simulation through the model built by UG software and simulate the actual workingenvironment verifying the feasibility of the new traverse mechanism.
