Silk is China's dedication to the world treasure and the history of China's the most beautiful flower, embroider the prosperity and brilliance of early China. According to the Roman history recorded, the Roman called China "SERES" means "silk kingdom".Silk fiber is a polymer-protein, have good draft and biological adaptability, but they are likely to damaged by humidity, light, heat and other environmental factors, causing them to become yellowing and even powdering. So research on the silk fiber's aging mechanism and the appropriate protective measures is an important topic of archaeologists and scientists. But the effects of hydrolysis aging and Hydrothermal aging on the secondary structure of silk protein have been unclear, and focusing on the dynamics of the secondary structure percentage content has hardly been made public. In this article, silk fiber structure aging rule in a single environment were studied by the characterization of different methods, it can further understanding of aging mechanism of silk fiber and tussah fiber. In the third chapter, under acid hydrolysis aging and alkali hydrolysis aging conditions, the research on hydrolysis aging of structure and performance of silk protein and tussah protein, and the relationship between the changes of performance and secondary structure percentage content. In the fourth chapter, under humidity and hot aging condition, the effects of structure and performance of silk protein and tussah protein was investigated. This chapter study on the relationship between the changes of performance and secondary structure percentage content. In the fifth chapter, the dynamics models of the secondary structure percentage content of silk and tussah silk was investigated by numerical analysis fitting experimental data. This research provide not only the theory for aging mechanism and aging rule of silk under different aging condition, but also the theoretical guidance for using and maintenance of silk products.
