Research On Flue Gas Desulfurization Online Monitoring System Based On ARM

In order to monitor the amount of thermal power plant’s pollutants and set reasonableprice of desulfurization, the power company, State Electricity Regulatory Commission andEPA, etc all need to make the continuent online monitoring on the relevant parameters of FlueGas Desulfurization System in thermal power plant. To help those departments operate itbetter, It’s necessary to design a high efficient data collection system.A design scheme based on the intelligent monitoring system of ARM-Linux has beenproposed by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the data collection systems basedon single-chip microcomputer, IPC and embedded processor. The main function of the system,including the acquisition of the flue gas in and out of the flue, monitoring the operation ofdesulfurization devieces, realizing communication between the system based on the internetand DCS servers, alarm and data storage. The device in this system applies industrial ARM9chip S3C2440as its core processor with low consume, high speed and abundant resoures inthe chip. The software platform uses Linux which pocesses powerful functions andstrongerportability, supports communication for computer network and high modularization, and iseasily to develop. A/D with high accuracy ensures the precision of monitoring data, theapplication of touch screen LCD and GUI makes man-machine interaction more convinient,and the high-speed upload data supplys guaranty for the real-time of the system.The result of the experiments shows that this system can realize real-time monitoring onthe operation of desulfurization devices and it has advantages such as simple structure, highreliability and friendly interface etc.The successful work of the system provides guaranty forthe relevant departments to munipulate scientific price of desulfurization.
