Safety is the premise of coal firm. More than96%of the coal mine accidents werecaused by unsafe behavior of human. Research on the analysis of influence factors andmeasurement of unsafe behavior is an effective way to improve intervention level of unsafebehavior and pre-control the accidents. However, there is not a set of tools to measure miners’unsafe behavior which can prevent and reduce the unsafe behavior. Therefore, the purpose ofthis paper is to build a more scientific and practical measurement tool for coal miners’ unsafebehavior in order to provide theoretical reference and basis for further research on Chineseminer’s unsafe behavior intervention.Firstly, this paper makes statistic analysis on coal mine accidents in the past ten yearswhich is based on the related research achievements from domestic and international, then itsummarizes the characteristic of coal mine accidents and based on these it analyzes theoccurrence mechanism of miner’s unsafe behavior and explore the influencing factors fromfour aspects: human, machine, environment and management. Secondly, it finds influencefactors of miner’s unsafe behavior combining with the open questionnaires, then selectes anddetermines the items by using the expert evaluation method. Based on these items to preparethe questionnaire and form a miner’s unsafe behavior primary scale with three subscales ofpersonal safety and quality, work characteristics and safety management. Then it chooses thefirst-line and second-line staffs in coal mine in Shaanxi Province as an object of investigationand uses SPSS16.0and AMOS17.0software to analyze the items in preliminary scale andmade exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor on subscales to determine thefactors structure of subscales and eventually formed the formal scale and test the validity andreliability. At last, it makes an empirical analysis on miners’ unsafe behavior scale and usesthe variance analysis method to make overall analysis and group difference analysis on anenterprise’s coal miners’ unsafe behavior. By comparing the analysis results with the actualsituation to verify the validity and accuracy of the scale, and put forward the correctivemeasures on the existing problems.Through this research, the paper identifies a set of applicable measurement scale for the coal miners’ unsafe behavior which can make a comprehensive reflection about coal miners’unsafe behavior. In addition it is also beneficial for the enterprise to put forward some reformmeasures in order to promote the coal enterprises security development and managementeffectively.
