Our country is rich in coal resources,The supply and demand for coal resourcescan keep balance.On the contrary,oil resources are relatively scarce in China, Thesupply and demand for oil resources are serious imbalances, In a long time,we canonly dependent on imports to solve the problem. The《BP World Energy StatisticsFor2012》showed that: Until the end of2011,the proved oil resources of our countrywas2×109t, This figure only accounted for0.9%of the world. We can see that, Ourcountry is seriously lacking of oil resources. On the contrary, until the end of2011,the proved coal reserves of our country almost accounted for13.3%of theworld. We can see that,the proportion of coal resources are much higher than theproportion of oil resources in China. Direct combustion has been the main usepattern of coal resources in China for a long time. The fact proved that, for this usepattern,the energy efficiency is low and it will cause serious pollution of theenvironment. Therefore, we don’t have any time to develop the technology of usingcoal resources in the way of clean and efficient patterns.Not noly can pyrolysis process of coal and oil shale effectively improve theenergy efficiency of coal resources,but also it can improve the pollution of theenvironment. It can produce tar and we can use the tar to refine heavy oil, light oiland other liquid fuels. It is of great significance In the respect of easing thecontradiction between supply and demand of oil resources in China.First, in this paper, Basic experimental studies of STY、SZY and NMSN wasinvestigated, Results shows that:the dynamic angle of repose of all the three kinds offuel were less than30°and their bulk density respectively were710.31kg/m~3、731.12kg/m~3、688.56kg/m~3.In order to fully understand the pyrolysis characteristics of three kinds of fuelbefore the pilot test, paper researched the effects of pyrolysis temperature、particalsize and heating rate on pyrolysis characteristics of three kinds of fuel Using thethermogravimetric method. Results shows that: In the range of50~950℃, Theyields of volatile matter and conversion rate of pyrolysis increased with temperatureincreasing, when the pyrolysis temperature rised to550℃, the conversion rate ofpyrolysis of all of them as high as75%, Respectively,75.24%,74.49%and75.73%;Total weight loss rates of the three kinds of fuel didn’t have any change atdifferent heating rates, weight loss rate of pyrolysis increased with heating ratesincreasing, the temperature when the weight loss rate of pyrolysis reached maximumincreased. At last, the cold experiment device of horizontal rotary reactor was designedand built, The effects of rotational speed on maximum discharge rate and The effectsof the inclination of lifter on MRT were discussed. Through the contrast, the internalstructure and rotational speed of pyrolysis reactor for pilot tests were determined inthe last: the inclination of lifter was25℃and the rotational speed of horizontalrotary reactor was4r/min.
