With the fast growing of China’s engineering construction, the performance requirementdemand for the reinforcing steel used in building is increasing greatly. At present, hot-rolledsteel accounted for more than90%of the total construction reinforcing steel, hot-rolled ribbedsteel bars has thus become a major part of China’s construction steel.Pusher-type heating furnace as an important step before steel rolling, has a greatinfluence on the performance of steel. There are some problems of the construction andheating system on The Yicheng Steel branch of Jiuquan iron and steel Company adoptspusher-type heating furnace. Resulting in a more serious billet " the water beam black mark"phenomenon in the process of billet heating. The billet " the water beam black mark" has agreat impact on the billet size specifications and performance through bar billet. This articleattempts to research the structure of the furnace and heating system, alleviate billet " the waterbeam black mark" phenomenon, improve the performance of the steel.Static Stretching were applied to test the reinforcing steel, find out the impact factors ofthe furnace structure on steel performance. The smaller furnace capacity and billet unevenheating is the main reason for serious billet " water beam black mark". The hot chute materialand bottom of the furnace water beam unreasonable arrangement is also important reasonsthat billet " water beam black mark" is difficult to reduce. Summarize the successfulexperience of the iron and steel enterprises at home and abroad on furnace structuretransformation, And combined with the actual situation of The Yicheng Steel companypusher-type heating furnace, puts forward the solutions. Test by the mechanical properties of the billet under different heating systems, and theresults were compared. Find out the influence of the billet cold load, hot load and mixed loadon the billet performance. Strengthen heating is also an important reason affect the billetsperformance and resulting billet “water beam black mark”.In this paper, mathematical simulation were concluded, according to the heating furnacetemperature field is simulated, conclusions are as follows:General trend of the furnacetemperature from high to low,that is because, from the preheating section to heating section,soaking zone, burner heating ability is reduced in turn. Throughout the furnace, the highesttemperature is the burner flame center, The maximum temperature reached1630°C, and thetemperature gradient of the flame region is larger.The temperature gradient of preheatingsection and the heating section are larger, the temperature gradient of the soaking zone isrelatively smaller; The lower part of the furnace temperature is very uniform, this isconducive to billet temperature stability, ease of tapping.In connection with the existing condition of Yicheng Steel company, Transformationfurnace and and further improve the heating system of the furnace. That can reduce the billet "water beam black mark" in the process of heating, to improve the performance of the steel.
