InSAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry) and the D-InSAR (DifferentialSyn-thetic Aperture Radar Interferometry) technology is one rapidly developmentedmicrowaveremote sensing technology, which has all-weather, all-covering a broad areawith a highdegree of automation and high-precision monitoring ground deformation capacity. It hasbecome a great potential new technology for space-to-earth observation. According totheinterference principle, D-InSAR technology for monitoring ground deformation can bere-solved unit of tiny surface deformation, which can reach mm-level accuracy in theory.Thistechnology uses in the coal mine subsidence monitoring is serious affected byfrequentlyactivities on the ground, serious temporal decorrelation and other factors. How touse the int-erference information to get the coal mine’s different aspects of subsidencemonitoring isneed to be solved urgently. The application of two-pass D-InSAR technique in technique in monitoring groundsubsidence in the coal mining area was studied. It selected YanZhou coal mining area as testarea. We used5ALOS PALSAR images to detect the subsided areas and got the vertiealsubsided quantity by two-pass D-InSAR technique.Selecting interferometric pairs andforming date processing flow of of two-pass D-InSAR technique which is suitable formonitoring ground subsidence in the coal mining area.By comparing of the monitoring resultsof D-InSAR and Leveling,it crried out the accuracy verification and analys is for InSARmeasuring. And we found that the vertical displacement got by D-InSAR technique wasconsistent with the leveling results. It was one of the best choices for monitoring large scalecoal mining area ground subsidence.
