Geological and topographical conditions of the coal mining area is complex, miningsubsidence disaster shows up nonlinear in the time domain, large gradient in the spatialdomain. InSAR technology could get surface deformation information periodically, more andmore satellite image data find a new method to solve mining subsidence monitoring of largegradient and nonlinear.Firstly, in the process of data processing, the paper selects a appropriate registration method, filtering method, interpolation algorithm, improve some of the key algorithm. In theregistration processing different SNR caused of different interferogram coherence, select thelargest SNR until the coherence do not change as the best SNR threshold.Secondly, find the main influencing factors of deformation monitoring gradient through theperspective of theoretical model, compare with two different types of data, establish a newmodel. The result showed that the high gradient deformation monitoring data woks to westernmining area’s advantage, otherwise decoherence is serious. Finally selected ALOS satellite images which covered Binchang mining area in Shaanxiprovice, optimized and improved processing method, found that the L-band data works toBinchang mining area’s advantage.InSAR results and the level monitoring results arecompared, which show fairly good agreement.
