In recent years, with the rapid development of the global industrial economy,aluminum increasingly wide range of applications, it has become the most widely usedclass of non-ferrous materials in industry, and therefore the quality requirements foraluminum material also increase. Be faced with fierce the market competition ofaluminum strip, enterprises must not only produce excellent quality products, but alsomake the production process low power consumption and high efficiency. At present,many manufacturers of aluminum sheet production depends mainly on the operator’sexperience rolling, this can not achieve precise control requirments, rolling scheduleoptimization is the fundamental way to solve this problem.The rolling process of aluminum hot strip mill is very complex, the materialproperties of aluminum is not easy to grasp relative to steel, in mill system the rollingforce, flattening radius, tension, rolling speed, coefficient of friction and other variablesalso has a strong coupling, so the rolling of aluminum is more difficult to control thansteel strip. An advanced rolling schedule is a strong guarantee for the quality of aluminumstrip and the mill low power consumption. This procedure set put forward multi-objectivefunction to prevent skidding, establish a rolling force model based on support vectorregression to replace the traditional model and improve the accuracy of the prediction ofthe rolling force effectively. At the same time, it uses artificial bee colony algorithm tooptimize the rolling schedule. The initialization of the algorithm introduced chaoticsequence to enhance its ergodicity. When variable is updated, a more reasonable variablescale operation is adopted. Not only be able to prevent falling into local extremum point,but also to avoid a blind search, improve the speed of evolution greatly.This procedure used in the finishing part of“1+4”aluminum hot strip in Henanprovince, based on the actual data and the rolling condition to establish rolling schedule.Simulation results show that the improved procedures has guiding significance for thesetting and calculation of level two in aluminum hot tandem rolling.
