Knitting industry is one of the traditional and national economy in our country,it plays an important role in China’s economic development.Computer hosiery machines combine current advanced computer control technology and knitting technologies,in knitting industry,this knitting equipment has relatively higher requirements for automation. Since the reform and opening,China’s knitting and textile industry obtained the rapid development, with increasingly high technical requirements for production equipment, some knitting equipment with backward technology have already can’t meet the actual production needs, technology innovation and transformation must be conducted.Especially in recent years, with the widely use of high-end microprocessor and embedded system in industrial control field, a worldwide wave of intelligent, digital and integrated product innovation by embedded technology is setting off.Based on the analysis of the composition and control requirements for computer hosiery machines,this paper combines the migration of Linux operating system on ARM9microprocessor as the host controller and field bus technology, designs and develops an embedded computer machines control system.Firstly,this paper introduces the development status at home and abroad about computer hosiery machines,as well as an overview of the embedded technology,combines with the characteristics of this subject, and discusses some automation technology used in the research and design of the computer hosiery machine.The composition structure of computer hosiery machine,each actuator weaving process and control requirements are researched in the article.After thorough understanding of the control object,puts forward a overall frame diagram of computer hosiery machine control,gives the main controller core panel and function board hardware principle diagram design.Analyses and defines the data structure of computer hosiery machine in accordance with the pattern preparation system for computer hosiery machine, in-depth analysis of pattern cycle data,weaving cycle data and the needle selection cycle data involved in pattern preparation system of computer hosiery machine,research and design on mutual conversion algorithm is conducted.In this paper, the design of the system software of computer hosiery machine are introduced in detail.The main contents include:transplantation and tailoring of the the embedded of Linux2.6operating system kernel on S3C2410A processor,the driver program of Linux device,the overall architecture of design of control program embedded computer hosiery machine,features introduction of each task and the program flow chart. System testing of the the main controller and the underlying implementing agencies are conducted after the completion of the design of the hardware and software,the test data and results are given, this project is summarized, and the shortcomings of the system are shown.
