With the development of information technology and human-machine interaction techniquesin the application of weft knitting machine increasingly mature, the design of interaction is paidmore and more attention to the user’s psychological demand at home and abroad.Human-machine interaction research focus gradually from the basic function of man-machineinterface on the man-machine interface with good user experience, gradually forming themulti-dimensional information space with the feature of human-machine cooperation andhuman-machine interaction style based on natural behavior, with the characteristic of visibility,availability, simplicity and versatility of interaction. Therefore, the design of human-machineinteraction has become one of hot direction in the field of knitting equipment.Through to the machinery institutions of general weft knitting and analysis of selectingmechanism, the overall design of general human-machine interaction system for weft knittingmachine based on embedded Linux operating system is put forward in this paper. Thehuman-machine interaction system adopts the hierarchical design thought, system can be dividedinto hardware layer, system layer, support layer and application layer. The hardware layer mainlyadopts S3C6410as the CPU of the core board, providing hardware support. The system layer isembedded Linux system, supporting the man-machine application system.The applicationsupport layer realizes the support of the graphical application according to Qt/Embedded graphicsystem and the Embedded SQLite database. Finally, the application layer for human-machineinteraction interface, realizes the harmonious interaction, as the core of the human-machineinteraction system, expounds the human-machine interaction module, the implementationmethod of the associated module, the data structure of the design file and action file and thedesign method of data processing system. Human-machine interaction interface is designed bythe QtCreator, using the scratchable latex layout, realizing the embedded data processing systemand file management system based on database, with the improvement of function andperformance.Through the functional test of human-machine interaction system shows that, the generalhuman-machine interaction system designed in this paper realized the basic function of weftknitting machine and the system has the characteristics of simple in operation, friendly interface, conforming to the people-oriented design concept in human-machine interaction technology,showing a good prospect of engineering application.
