Coal is the main energy which accounts for70%of the primary energy consumption. ButChina has serious coal seam spontaneous combustion problem and it is a great threat to coalsafety production. The mining in closed distance seam group is prevalent in China and it iscommon in several coalfields of Shuangyashan coal mine area.Based on the spontaneous combustion phenomenon of fully mechanized face ofShuangyashan Dongrong coal mine areas, the coal sample spontaneous combustionexperiments and the programmed heating experiment were carried out. The experimentalspontaneous combustion stage is36days when the starting temperature of30.5℃, and theexperimental spontaneous combustion stage is46days when the starting temperature of20℃of the average particle size of3.32mm of coal seam17of Dongrong Ⅱ. And thispaper identified the lower oxygen concentration limit air leakage strength and ultimate floatcoal thickness such as flammability limit parameters that laid the foundation for thespontaneous combustion danger zone.The spontaneous combustion behavior of coal seam of Shuangyashan coal mine wasmeasured and the spontaneous combustion law of closed distance seam group mining wasanalyzed. The composite colloids is good performance in Cooling, fire, filling plugging andso on. Integrated use of gel fire prevention and equalizing, plugging and other technologies,coal mine Dongrong Ⅲ achieved good anti-extinguishing effect. And the method ofcalculation of the amount of liquid carbon dioxide fire extinguishing grouting. And verify thecorrectness of the calculation method in practice. And application of liquid carbon dioxidesuccessfully deal with the spontaneous combustion fire of the distance seam group at the topof the goaf coal in coal mine Dongrong Ⅱ that protect the safety in production and achieved good economic and social benefits.
