The development of gas industry plays a significant role in our country toachieve sustainable development and urban construction. But in our country, distribution of natural gas is extremely uneven, therefore long-distance pipeline hasbecome an important hub for development and utilization of natural gas. How to ranand manage long-distance pipeline safely, stably, reliably and continuously hasbecame a serious problem. Therefore, we should establish numerical model of latelong-distance pipeline to simulate its different operating conditions, which willenable us to grasp the operation rules, to understand the volume of gas pipeline indifferent conditions. It can also forecast the state of pipeline system in differentsituations and guide the actual system design and optimization options of operationto improve the safety, reliability and economic issues of pipeline system. This article based on computational fluid mechanics theory, establishesnumerical flow model of the latter end of long distance pipelines of natural gas.Combined with specific project example, collect data for normal operatingconditions of the latter end of long distance pipelines of natural gas. in city P.Making use of some basic theories in mathematical statistics and probability for datainspection and sampling error analysis, test the numerical flow model. Throughnumerical model of the latter end of long distance pipelines, simulate and analyzefour different operating conditions of specific diameter and tube length. Includingwhen the first stop pressure suddenly changes, ensure the time not to be affected todesigned gas consumption and maximum daily gas consumption for downstreamusers, the impact on the limit flow for downstream users generated by the pressureof end station with constant first stop pressure and the impact on the limit traffic fordownstream users generated by the pressure of first station with constant end stationpressure. Finally, based on dynamics theory of latter end of long distance pipelines, simulate and solute the relationship between gas volume of latter end of longdistance pipelines and pressure态flow, getting the gas volume of latter end of longdistance pipelines in city P with designed parameters and maximum dailyparameters. Combined with the load and designed parameters of the latter end, studythe impact on the pipeline gas volume generated by different diameters, differenttube length, different first stop pressures, different end station pressures anddifferent flow, and analyze the degree of influence on gas storage capacity ofvarious variables. Through this research analyze and put forward the concept of"critical reservoir parameters "and" optimal gas tube length", and achieve the critical reservoir parameters and the optimal gas tube length under certainparameters conditions of the latter end of long distance pipelines. Finally, weconclude that the diameter has the greatest impact on the gas volume of the latterend of long distance pipelines.
