The Main Influence Factor Analysis For Municipal Solid Waste Landfill Closure

Based on the analysis of the technical and standardization status quo of China’smunicipal solid waste sanitary landfill closure and its shortcomings and trends, this paperhas proposed the content which is the main influence factors of municipal solid wastelandfill closure, including the survey and evaluation of landfill surrounding environment,the closure cover system, afforestation and ecological restoration, and operationmaintenance and reuse of postclosure, by the method of Combining ecosystem successiontheory, ecological restoration theory and Sustainable development theory, and putting useto the method of site surveys, reference data collection and comparative study.this paper has discussed the investigation and evaluation of groundwater, air, andsurface water, coming to different survey distance of reek for different scales of landfills:Small landfill (less than500t/d) for500m range, medium landfill (500~1200t/d) for1000m range, large landfill (>1200t/d) for1500m range.From the bottom up, the closure cover system is composed of exhaust layer, barrierlayer, drainage layer and vegetation layer. For the material of the barrier layer, natural clayshould borrow in the locality. If using the geomembrane as the main barrier layer, it isdesirable to select the HDPE film. The landfill pile slope should adopt geogrid reinforcedearth structure, which can greatly improve the stability of the slope. It is considered to besafe that the calculated safety factor FS is1.25. Green Plants should be based on thedifferent stages of the greening project, trying to choose a strong resistance and a widesource of native plants, and taking into account the combination of a variety of plantplanting. For landfill re-use, it should be in the actual calculation of the settlement and toensure the safety case, and then, landscape planning and land use program can beproposed.
