Methyl ethyl ketazine hydrolysis was processed for preparation hydrazine hydrate, it had many advantages such as few pollution and high yield etc, traditional hydrolysis process was high temperature and pressure, but high pressure hydrolysis promoted the occurrence of side effects. So a suitable catalyst was choosed to accelerate methyl ethyl ketazine hydrolysis. It was of important significance for methyl ethyl ketazine hydrolysis.This paper studied the basic nature of methyl ethyl ketazine, including saturated vapor pressure, butanone and methyl ethyl ketazine vapor-liquid equilibrium of the binary system. Using Rose autoclave determinate the saturated vapor pressure of methyl ethyl ketazine in the range of334.65-444.20K, and employment Antoine equation lnP=A-B/(T+C) associated three parameters A=23.9762, B=6205.8892, C=53.9195. Improved othmer kettle was used to measurement butanone and methyl ethyl ketazine gas-liquid equilibrium data, and data the thermodynamic consistency was tested. The data was associated by Wilson, NRTL, UNIQUAC thermodynamic model and the smallest error was NRTL, NRTL equation parameters were aij=-13.3872、aji=18.1575、bij=5062.991、bji=-4513.83、a=0.3.The macroscopical kinetics of methyl ethyl ketazine hydrolysis reaction was carried out in a batch stirred reactor with complexion resin S940. The parameters of kinetics were measured, and the efforts of reaction temperature, the optimum mole ratio of methyl ethyl ketazine and water and the quantity of catalyst to the rate of reaction, and equation of methyl ethyl ketazine hydrolysis with catalyst as follow:r=4.676e[-2213.7/(RT)]cA0.1049cB0.1108-4.348e [-120.81/(RT)] cC0.1186cD0.1243Methyl ethyl ketazine was added and estimated with aspen plus, on the basis of the data of kinetics, the simulation of process was studied. The influencing factors such as the feeding method、the oretical stages、the feed location,water and methyl ethyl ketazine molar ratio and reflux ratio were studied. The optimum conditions of the simulation calculation were obtaining by orthogonal methods. The feeding method was single strand, reaction section number of theoretical plates was25, feed position was4, water and methyl ethyl ketazine molar ratio of9.5, the water phase reflux ratio was1, the reflux ratio of the oil phase was0.At this point the conversion of MEK was99.8515%, the mass fraction of tower reactor reached20.4%.
