China has become the third largest region with heavy acid deposition after Europe andNorth America. Now, acid rain pollution is worsening, which is paid more and moreattention. Environmental pollution and ecological destruction caused by acid rain seriouslythreatens the human living environment and society’s level of economic development. Thispaper choose the seedlings of four common Trees in Zhejiang province:Cinnamomumcamphora, Quercus glauca, Pinus massoniana and Cunninghamialanceolata, meared their photosynthesis and water use characteristics, which was under thethree intensity of the acid rain in different season and year. Try to find out the Trees’changing Trends by acid rain Treatment. In order to select the Trees that have highlyadaptable in the acid rain areas frequently. The results show that:Firstly, the photosynthetic physiological parameters of four kinds of trees are differentwith simulated acid rain. Acid rain increased the Amaxof Quercus glauca andCunninghamialanceolata but decreasedthe Amaxof Cinnamomumcamphora. Acid rain increased theseedlings’ range of using low light except Cinnamomumcamphoraseedlings.Because ofseason, they have different using high lingt range.Secondly, because of season, the variety of tree and other factors, the water useefficacy of four kinds of tree were changed periodically.Acid rain, the interactions ofseason and year and the three factors had significant effect on water use characteristics ofQuercus glauca, Pinus massoniana and Cunninghamia lanceolata, it means that theinfluence of acid rain on trees not only determined by acid rain but also depends onenvironment.Thirdly, because of leaves leathery, Cinnamomumcamphora and Quercus glaucahasstrong resistance to acid rain, Pinus massonianahas strong adaption, and it from sensitivetree become resistant tree. Cunninghamia lanceolatahas low acid rain resistance.
