A pharmaceutical factory in WuHan produces jinyinhua distillate mianly and no more than200t/d,the amount and the quality of pharmaceutical wastewaters are different by the changesof the production task. The wastewater raw water quality indexes of the pharmaceuticalfactory are: the concentration of COD is300,000mg/L, the concentration of BOD5is200,000mg/L, the concentration of NH3-N is450mg/L,the concentration of TN is1250mg/L,theconcentration of TP is900mg/L and the turbidity is40NTU, which belongs to the highconcentrate pharmaceutical wastewater.The experiment adopts SBBR process to treat the pharmaceutical wastewaters andpolyhedral hollow balls as packings.After26days’runing, membrane fouling succeed. By aseries of orthogonal tests, the optimum condition is determined in the end, and the DOconcentration is3.5mg/L, the reaction period is10h, and the aera dosing quantity is0.007g/L.Among the reaction period, the inflowing time is0.25h, the aeration time is9h, the settlingtime is0.5h and the effluent time is0.25h.At the optimum condition, by the SBBR processtreatment, the drainage water quality indexes are: the concentration of COD is720mg/L, theconcentration of BOD5is350mg/L,the concentration of NH3-N is1.50mg/L, theconcentration of TN is7.5mg/L,the concentration of TP is4mg/L, and the turbidity is65NTU,and the wastewater can accord with “Wastewater quality standards for discharge to municipalsewers”(CJ343-2010) and be discharged after treatment in the sewage treatment plant bymunicipal sewers.
