With the improvement of living standards and lifestyle changes, people needs the clothing with more diversity and personalized. Therefore, it is a bit monotonous if there is one type of fabric on garment, and it couldn’t be meet the rapid development requirement of women’s clothing at all. Knit and woven are two types of fabric, which have significant differences in there wearing performance. There are both advantages and disadvantages when single use. It is elastic, soft, fit and comfortable for clothing made of knitted fabric, but at the same time, it is not fixed and stiff. Highlights the shortcomings of comfort more than the beautiful. It is not easily deformed, stiff for appearance and shaping and beautifying the body for the clothing made of woven fabric The only shortcoming is that it couldn’t make the body comfort. Then two types of fabric combination was emerged as the times require.It is forefront application subject to have combination of flat knitted and woven fabric, which wants to improve and avoid the defects caused by a single fabric from a design point of view. It was brought with actual needs, which extends the performance of the two kinds of fabric, and couldn’t be replaced by single knitted or woven fabric. It is optimization for the original fabric and can be quick to enhance garment wearing ability and the way of value-added products. The design of combination is good for improve the product quality and ensure the practical function of clothing and also reduction in working hours and cost, within the limited cost to maximize the value. Therefore, combination of flat knitted and woven fabric has great potential both from an artistic and business view.Respond to the technical challenge of the combination, it brings forward technical optimization. Objectivly, many problems will encounter in the actual garment making when using the combination. In this paper, it takes the garment sample trial as example to discuss and verify. Through the premise and principles of the specification and guidance, from the five steps to control and resolve the technical routes for the problems during the combination.(1) Technical routs optimization for the problems resulted from tensile performance difference, color fastness, shrinkage issues due to fabric difference;(2) Analysis and technology for the problems due to component construction;(3) Analysis and technology for the problems due to sewing step;(4) Analysis and technology for the problems due to garment making;(5) Analysis and technology for the problems due to finishing step.It looks at the problems comprehensively and brings out the detailed technical realization routs. It also designs the optimal production process for the combination and provides a good basis for the production. The results show that after the optimized design, it can improve the appearance and the quality of the product, increase the added value of products, reduce costs, improve profit margins, regardless of industry or an enterprise h; a very practical significance. |
