In recent years, along with the textile technology and textile equipment development, the varieties of yarn are becoming more and more. As a new type of yarn, MVS yarn is more compelling in recent years. At home and abroad, the research results on MVS are obvious, but this research mainly refers to yarn mechanism, yarn structure, yarn properties and spinning process. Fabric performance is seldom research.Foreign relevant MVS spinning research began in late 20th century(in the late of 20th century). The research mainly involves yarn forming mechanism, spinning process parameter adjustment, yarn structure theory and computer application. So that, MVS spinning technology can improve constantly. Domestic research to MVS spinning mainly focus on the yarn forming mechanism, yarn forming process, nozzle structure parameters, yarn structure and performance, multi-component yarn. And the influence factors of power were discussed. All of the research is to improve the yarn properties and reflect its superiority. This paper studied on MVS yarn fabric's performance, and discussed MVS fabric's performance systematically. At the same time, its performance advantages were displayed through compared to traditional ring spinning yarn fabric's performance and air jet spinning yarn fabric performance. The study will make a solid foundation for MVS yarns production, application and product development. And it will give full play to MVS yarn scientific value and market potential.There are five parts in this paper:The first part introduced the development of MVS, the research actuality, the study on new textiles' performance and the aim and content of this thesis briefly. The second part analyzed the performance of MVS yarns, the jet yarns and the ring yarns.The third part described five kinds of knitted fabrics' weaving and finishing. The fourth part analyzed the mechanical performance of MVS fabric. And contrasted the performance of MVS fabric, jet fabric and ring fabric respectively. The fifth part outlines fabric style and its research methods and the style of several fabrics were studied. The sixth part mainly analyzed the MVS yarn knitted fabrics' comfortableness. The seventh part is the conclusion and summarized.The final conclusion is:the MVS yarn knitted fabric's performance is similar with traditional ring spinning yarn fabric's performance, and is close to quite a breakthrough than air jet spinning yarn fabric. MVS yarns' excellent characteristics of mechanical properties may be fully performance in the fabric. In fabric style, compared with norms fabric, MVS fabric's softness is similar to that of air jet yarn fabric, and superior to that of ring spinning yarn fabric. Its fullness and slide waxy degrees between air jet spinning yarn fabric and ring spinning yarn fabric. Its fullness similar to ring fabric, and slippery waxy degrees slightly higher than jet yarn fabric; But standard with knitting coat fabric style, proceed the comprehensive evaluation, we can see that:the ring fabric's comprehensive style evaluation is a few taller, the comprehensive style of MVS fabric is Lowest rated. In addition, we evaluated fabric's comfortableness through fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. according to the comprehensive evaluation results, we know MVS fabric's comfortableness is the best while the ring fabric's comfortableness is the worst.
