In coordination role as the driving force of the organic-inorganic supramolecularcoordination chemistry is currently the most active international chemical industry. Inrecent years, people in the self-assembly strategy based organic-inorganiccoordination polymers and supramolecular complexes chemistry research has madesignificant progress in the synthesis and characterization of a number withone-dimensional, two-dimensional and three-dimensional structure of the metalorganic frameworks. In this thesis, totally9novel cyclotriphosphazene ligandscontaining Schiff-base were designed and synthesized;21double-armed asymmetricorganic ligands bridged by the benzimidazole were synthesized. We studied theirreaction with the metal coordination chemistry, and fully characterized by X-raysingle-crystal diffraction, IR and elemental analysis.1. The coordination chemistry based on benzimidazole-bridged double-armedasymmetric organic ligands containing pyridine groups with Cu (II) and Cu (I)salts was investigated. Two new coordination compounds were synthesizedrespectively. Their single crystal structures were characterized and investigated.2. The coordination chemistry based on benzimidazole-bridged double-armedasymmetric organic ligands containing cyanogroups with Hg (II) salt wasinvestigated. One new coordination compound was synthesized. Its single crystalstructure was characterized and investigated.3. The coordination chemistry based on benzimidazole-bridged double-armedasymmetric organic ligands containing carboxy groups with Zn (II), Cd (II) saltswas investigated. Two new coordination compounds were synthesizedrespectively. Their single crystal structures were characterized and investigated.4. The coordination chemistry based on benzimidazole-bridged double-armedasymmetric organic ligands containing Schiff-base with Hg (II) salts has beeninvestigated. Two new coordination compounds were synthesized respectively.Their single crystal structures were characterized and investigated. The results of this study show that benzimidazole-containing ligands whichmodified by pyridyl, cyano, carboxyl, and Schiff-base arms is a new approach toconstruct novel structures with special physical and chemical properties.
