CNC machine tool is prepared in accordance with the procedure control, but randomfactors is hard to predict, because parameter is too large that affect efficiency,or parameter istoo small that cause dangerous. This paper will design a kind of milling adaptive controlsystem. It gets feedback signal in real time of the milling force, so it always make the millingforce control within the scope of the expectation by adjusting the feed. So as to improve themachining efficiency of machine tool, and the ability to protect machine tools and cuttingtools. This article first made adaptive control system overall planning. Choose the rightdetection device by analyzing milling force of numerical control milling machine and theadvantages and disadvantages of detection device, analyzing the principle to determinerelevant equipment as well as the model parameters and so on.The open loop model of NC milling process can be divided into speed control unitmodel and the milling force model. Analyzed them respectively. Respectively correspondingsimplified its mathematical model and integrate tow modules, then got the open loop model ofnc milling process.Establish overall planning of generalized predictive control theory algorithm, Accordingto the generalized predictive control theory, algorithm can be divided into systemidentification module, Diophantine equation parameters calculating module, predictivecontrol module. Analyzing the three modules respectively, first of all was their theoreticalanalysis based on the theory analysis and numerical control milling process, analyzing thespecific data structure used in the program, and these modules were simulated.Based on the above chapters analysis of milling forces, according to the simulation toestablish the milling force model and the milling force data, simulated constant force controlsystem, and the simulation results show that the correctness of the method of this study.
