As an efficient broken grinding equipment of a set of crushing and grinding together, the original intention designed of pre-mil is to reform broken mill links, to improve the whole efficiency of the selected field and to reduce overall energy consumption. Starting from the monomer device, it’s not only through the optimization design of the mechanical body’s structure, but also by increasing the degree of automation of the monomer equipment to improve the performance of the pre-mill. Therefore, through the establishment of the pre-mill broken grinding process mathematical model, it’s has the special practical significance to come up with the appropriate controller to improve the level of automatic control of the pre-mill.Take advantage of the theoretical research, experimental analysis, numerical calculation and simulation methods, this paper had completed the work as follows:analyzing the pre-mill grinding breaking effect of experiments in laboratory, establishing a pre-mill the discharge size fractions distribution model by the application of numerical methods. Through the study of multi-input multi-output system identification theory, the theory is applied to create a mathematical model of pre-mill broken grinding process. Using identify the model applied to the generalized predictive control algorithm, it has verified the feasibility of algorithm by simulation of applying the pre-the mill control system.The main research achievements:(1) Through experimental, the impact of the pre-mill production reference by feeding amount, the main motor speed, feeding grain-size distribution, high capacity (discharge rate), and the main motor current nesting fractions distribution process parameters and so on.(2) By using the method of multi-parameter fitting, Discharging graded distribution model has calculated the discharge size distribution matrix, classification matrix, and established the experiment with pre-mill discharge graded distribution model.(3) By using the method of system identification, the pre-mill crushing and grinding process of multiple inputs and multiple outputs system model is established, by comparing the model output curve and actual output curves, it shows that the model has certain accuracy.(4) Using the identified pre-mil model as the basic model of generalized predictive control, generalized predictive controller for pre-mill was simulated, the simulation results show that the generalized predictive control algorithm in pre-mill broken practical grinding process as Multiple input and output parameters control has a certain practicality.The research above provides a valuable reference for the pre-mill control system applied to production practice, and points out a feasible way to study and improve the level of automation of the pre-mill.
