China has nearly300million square kilometers of marine territory area. In order toseek to meet the needs of people and the development of new energy, marine resources isbecome the next target. The sea area accounted for71%of the global area. There are themineral, chemical, power, heat and space in the marine to be exploited. Therefore, people isno longer satisfied with the levels of traditional marine industry. Countries accelerate thedevelopment of marine resources. Offshore oil and gas mining industry is an importantpillar of China’s marine economy. Compared with land-based oil and gas exploration,offshore oil industry has shown a high input, high-tech, high-risk. The repair of thesubmarine pipeline is a major part of the infrastructure of offshore oil and gas industry.Because of the long-term pressure and low temperature in the harsh marine environment,the submarine pipeline not only corrosion by seawater,but also by the pipe internal oil andhydrogen sulfide gas corrosion.The Subsea Variable Structural Diamond Saw is a mechanical cold working machineused in the underwater cutting process. This machine which can be widely used in thepractical engineering projects. Compared with other subsea equipments, it has manyadvantages, such as better adaptation, wide working range, the reliable ability of cuttingmetal, nonmetal and composite materials.This project is supported by the “National Doctoral Program of Higher SpecializedResearch Fund”. In order to improve the cutting efficiency,on the basis of the researchwork which has been carried out on the wire saw,the paper determine the optimalparameters diamond Beads by experiments.This paper inspection and absorbs a large number of the domestic and internationaldevelopment on the wire saw. It completed the structural design of the experimental systemof underwater diamond wire saw. In the structural design of the bench work,the paper getthe parallel loading mechanism equation through the kinematic analysis of parallel levermechanism,the simulation was done by ADAMS, it provides the basis for the cutting load.The paper include the modal analysis using ANSYS software to the main institutions of thebench,and established the kinematic equations of wire saw,it also discussed the cuttingtechnology of wire saw.The paper designed the force loading system of underwater diamond wire sawexperiment station and motion control system of GTS series motion. It selected the load stepper motor for cutting force loading mechanism. The physical simulation model wasestablished by the module of SimHydraulics,and the paper research the performance ofdynamic response,it established a mathematical model of the stress in the friction test drive,and cutting process was simulated.Finally,the paper designed the sensing test systems and communication systems ofunderwater diamond wire saw bench. It selected the related sensors and communicationshardware based on the Wire Saw experimental station required parameters. It Completed themonitoring of the status of experimental work bench, facilitating the control of the correctoperating conditions of the experiment of the wire saw cutting experiments and judgeexperimental device in order to ensure the cutting experiment carried out smoothly.
