| Since flotation technology appeared, it’s developing very rapidly, and has become one of important method in mineral separation field. As the applications become more and more frequent, people more and more research on flotation method, the improvement of flotation equipment is becoming more and more thorough, the purpose is to improve the flotation efficiency of flotation equipment, which makes the flotation equipment change constantly and the flotation technology in constant development.In many of the flotation equipments, the mechanical agitation-type flotation machine is the most used and the technology the most mature. Then appeared the flotation column and jet-type flotation machine. In our country are mainly composed of the above three kinds of flotation equipment. Along with the development of flotation technology, there will be more advanced flotation equipment. And in this process need to explore new ideas of flotation constantly,and in this paper are some new ideas about flotation equipments.This paper is on the basis of the existing flotation equipments,analysis the advantages and disadvantages of the mechanical agitation-type flotation machine and the jet-type flotation machine,finds the relevant points,according these points to design new type flotation machine. We based on the theory of impulse turbine,set up new type flotation machine according to XJM-S20flotation machine and FJC-20flotation machine, combined with the knowledge of mineral processing, on the basis of fluid dynamics study and similarity criterion, analysis the flow field of new type flotation machine by Fluent simulation calculation,and determine the motion parameters of the model. Finally using PIV testing technology test the flow field of glass model,getting the parameters of the model,and analysising the results of Fluent simulation calculation and PIV testing, to summarizes the mechanism of fluid dynamics scientifically and provide the reference for the design of the new type flotation machine. |
