Nc (numerical control) milling machine has strong functions of processing. It main uses milling way to process workpiece and can use milling on plane,curved surface,outline, three-dimensional intricate contour and surface. Nc milling machine has an important position in Nc processing. With the rapid development of computer technology, machining simulation technology becomes more widely used and a very important aspect of Nc technology. It can verify the correctness and optimization of Nc processing programs,and reduce the potential safety hazard of Nc machine tools.In this thesis, the simulation software of CGTech VERICUT company, CAXA physical design and CAXA ME (manufacturing engineer) are combined to create a virtual three axles vertical milling machine,and use it to simulate machining of parts. The main contents of this thesis reads as follows:(1) The establishment of CNC milling simulationThis topic chose XK713three axles vertical milling machine to structure simulation machine for model.First use CAXA physical design to structure the various parts of geometric model, then use model module of VERICUT tools to complete the kinesiology modeling of three axles vertical milling machine and equips Frank Nc system.(2) Establish tool magazineEstablish tool magazine for machine tools. Tool modeling is divided into tool shank modeling and tool holder modeling.After defining the tool,but also through the initialization establishment and regulate coordinate of the tool to be properly installed on the main axle of machine tool.(3) Generate the NC programComplete the part of the work with the help of CAXA ME software. The specific process is divided into part geometric modeling,processing technology setting,tool path and Nc program generation.(4) Use the VERICUT system to complete the simulation processingFirst,bring up the required machines, install reasonable tools and import the Nc program generation into the system,integrate the necessary essential factor of these processing into together.Ar the same time define the reasonable semifinished product shape,and placed onto the machine table,then do the machining simulation.(5) Experimental verification To make further efforts to validate the practicality of VERICUT system in application of Nc machining simulation.the subject of the simulation is verified by experiments.
