Automatic capsule filling machine is a kind of pharmaceutical filling machinery by which separates empty capsule into body and cap, fills powder into the capsule body and locks the body and cap together lastly. It operates simply, has high production efficiency and filling accuracy, and also does little pollution to environment, so it complies with the GMP regulatory requirements. With the rapid development of domestic manufacturing level and the needs of market, capsule filling machine will toward directions with high-speed, automated and intelligentize, and these directions will be the development trends of the future capsule filling machine.There is a high-speed product updates in NJP capsule filling machine, just in few decades, the production rate has been improved from400grians per minute to3200, the productivity has risen greatly. To meet the large quantity and high efficiency by the greatest extent in capsule production, More efficient high-speed NJP5000capsule filling machine will be designed in this paper with the virtual prototype technology based on the the NJP3200.Following is the main contents of this subject:(1) According to the original NJP capsule filling machine, NJP5000virtual prototype model will be built using the software of Pro/E. In accordance with the calculation, the key components whose are upper and lower module, will be modfied and designed both to meet the scheduled production efficiency and ensure that the componnets in capsule machine have not the interferce with each other.(2) Plate cam is one of important parts in capsule filling machine; it controls the change of the relative spatial location of the upper and lower modules. In order to ensure the movement position precision, the equations of dispalcement, the velocity and the acceleration of the followers on the plate cam will be solved by the software MATLAB, then the better performance of the profile of the plate cam is obtained, the production precision has risen accordingly.(3) The rotary mechanism of the capsule filling machine is Multi-station mechnism; each station has its corresponding task and function. Based on the parametric modeling and motion simulation on the mechanism, the velocity and acceleration curve graphics is measured by the software ADAMS. In base of the analysis and evaluation with the sensitivity of the parameters, the target function is optimized to ensure the mechnaism with better motion performance.(4) In capsule filling machine, rotary mechnaism and filling insitutions both are intermittent rotation, while the spindle rotates continuously, therefore, it is essential that motion matching with these mechanism in capsule filling machine is researched. Based on the analysis of moving forms and motion simulation to the mechnaism, the motion matching between each mechanism is determined and the motion function of rotary mechanism and the dose plate to ensure the precision of movement. Under the optimization of the motion form, the movments of the mechanism in capsule filling machine are more stable and reliable.
