| This paper investgated the following experiments:the comparative test of five Zimbabwe tobacco varieties, such as KRK22, KRK23, KRK26, KRK28and T27, were introduced on the base of the comparative test in this paper; a test on the field adaptation and industry validation experiment of KRK26has been conducted.The result of variety comparative test in experimental field has showed:under the condition of5%significance level of difference, Zimbabwe varieties have a higher plant height, thicker stem girth and more natural leaves than the control variety, such as K326and Yunyan87while they show little difference in effective leaves, pitch and the maximum cut leaf. Taking the following six aspects into consideration:agronomic characteristic, economic characteristic, disease resistance, appearance, quality chemical components and sensory characters; KRK26performs prominent and meets the demands of cigarette brand of Yunyan. which has a similar evaluation result to K326and a better sensory quality than Yunyan87.The result of local adaptation experiment has showed:K.RK26is appropriate to plant at an altitude of1300m-1800m, KRK26leads a similar result to control group in output, economic value and the appearance quality of tobacco leaf during this range of elevation.The industry validation experiment showed:in the redry process, the processing properties of KRK26can meet the demands in process of thresing andredrying, performs better than K326in anti-machinability. According to the development experiment of new products, KRK26tobacco leaf could impart caramelic and sweet aroma to the Yunyan Cigarett Brand, when it was used at a percent of10%in tobacco blend. According to the test on replacing component of tobacco blend, KRK26has an outstanding fresh and sweet characteristic; meanwhile, it is obvious in empyreumatique and sweet aroma. In order to improve the quality of products, KRK26can replace Yunyan87in the tobacco blend of Yunyan Cigarette Brand. |
