Lead-zinc metals are important strategic material in China, and have an important position in the nonferrous metal industry. The amount of lead and zinc are listed as the fourth, fifth place next to iron, aluminum and copper.Lead-zinc polymetallic sulfide ore resources abound in our country, the mineral constituent of polymetallic sulpfide ore is extremely complex, which content of valuable constituent is turbulent and it structure is diverse and complex, disseminated extent have large variation range, most of them difficult dressing. Along with the resources of lead zinc ore lacking day by day, for the technology development and research of this kind of ore have wider implications.This paper make a lead-zinc mine difficult to choose with high sulfur for subject investigated to study the flotation separation technology of lead-zinc ore. Through the analytical study of mineralogical technology, ascertained the content of useful and harmful components, chemical phase analysis, the liberation anylsis of valuable minerals and main gangues minerals, the occurrence of useful and harmful elements. On the basis of process mineralogy results, the compared experiments about the different process flow sheets and different kinds of flotation reagents were made to determine the suitable flowsheet. With the upper flowsheet, the process structure of lead, zinc and sulfur roughing, scavenging, cleaning operation were investigated. The effect of flotation reagents dosages on lead, zinc and sulfur flotation separation is studied, and the optimum conditions of process flowsheet is given. Under the optimum conditions, the final results is obtained through the closed circuit experiment. At last, the mechanism of flotation reagents reacting with minerals is explained.Through the analytical study of mineralogical technology indicated, mainly for the sulphur mineral in the samples of the minerals, but a few oxide and the gangue. Pb, Zn are mainly Valuable elements in the ore, they exist In the form of sphalerite and galena minerals, and relatively more pyrite is associated. The lead grade is7.44%, the zinc grade is6.77%,the sulfur grade is19.09%in raw ore. The content of main sulfide pyrite, galena and sphalerite are22.91%,8.59%and10.09%. The gangue mainly for dolomite and quartz, a few chlorite and carbonate, with a total of around58.05%.The three main mineral density symbiosis,have complex embedded cloth relationship, erosion mutual, wrap mutual, Irregular filling, they form hard-to-beneficiate complex sulfide aggregation, and their size distribution uneven and disparity, increased the difficulty of separation.According to compared experiment results of the different process flowsheets and different kinds of flotation reagents, adoptting preferential flotation one by one,namely, Pb preferential flotation-Zn-selective flotation (reagent removal and regrinding of rough concentrate)-S-selective flotation with Zn-tailings. The flowsheet of Pb preferential flotation include one roughing, three cleaning and one scavenging, butyl xanthate is adopted as the selective lead collector; The flowsheet of Zn-selective flotation include one roughing, three cleaning and one scavenging, reagent removal and regrinding of rough concentrate, Na2SO3+ZnSO4are combined to used as depressand of zinc, butyl xanthate is adopted as the selective zinc collector, CuSO4is used as activator. The flowsheet of S-selective flotation include one roughing, two cleaning and two scavenging, CaO is used as depressand, butyl xanthate is adopted as the selective sulfur collector, H2SO4is used as activator.The closed circuit tests gives that the lead grade is50.55%with recovery92.25%in lead concentrate, the zinc grade is40.12%with recovery85.82%in zinc concentrate, the sulfur grade is48.58%with sulfur recovery56.59%in sulfur concentrate, the lead grade is0.31%, the zinc grade is0.27%and sulfur grade is390%in tailing.The results of this study have a certain significance Lead-zinc combined ore in achieving high efficient separation and comprehensive recovery for the same type ore.
