The ore of lead-zinc with abundant reserves and lots of species is widely distributed in the earth. Where, the white lead (PbCO3) and anglesite (PbSO4) lead are the two of the oxide ore which have high value in industrial applications. The zinc oxide ore mainly come from the calamine (ZnCO3) and hemimorphy (Zn4[Si2O7](OH)2H2O). Australia, China, the United States, Canada, Peru and Mexico, etc are these countries where the reserves of lead and zinc are relatively high in the world. The lead-zinc oxide ore in China is extremely rich, which are high in zinc and low in lead. Production, consumption, exports are all forefront of the world. The lead-zinc oxide ore is the dominant mineral of China. The lead and zinc are widely used in many industrial fields. The oxidation of lead-zinc ore is processed generally by the floating selection, as well as the combination process of floatation, gravity and hydrometallurgy, etc.The lead-zinc oxide ore is a promising resource of metal and extremely rich in China, the rational use of which is significant. With the development of industry, a large number of tailings and low-grade oxidized ore store up can not be used. Although there was a lot of research about flotation of the lead-zinc oxide ore, satisfactory results can not be achieved. In the condition that the rich oxidation of lead-zinc ore is decreasing and impoverished, and the oxide ore is too complex to dispose. So our study will provide a reliable experimental basis for the exploitation of lead-zinc oxide ore resources, and it will propose practical guidance for significant exploitation of the lead-zinc oxide ore resources.The distribution of the lead-zinc oxide ore in Yunnan province, and the mineralogy process therein are well studied in the thesis. 1.09% lead and 8.39% zinc were obtained from raw ore; Degree of oxidation is a little higher. Oxidation rates of lead and zinc are 96.34% and 98.15%; By researching of the ore with process mineralogy, we can infer that the purpose minerals of the ore are mainly white lead and calamine, etc. And gangue minerals are mainly dolomite and christobalite.According to the characteristics of this lead-zinc oxide ore, we intend to compare priority flotation processing with mixed flotation processing by experimental method in this experiment. We choose mix flotation process finally; this process has the advantages of short processes, high index, less medication, low production cost and so on. And we use lead-zinc mixed flotation-gravity separation processing. The result of test is as followings: lead-zinc concentrates 1 containing lead 10.71%, zinc 37.91%, and lead-zinc concentrate 2 containing lead 1.94%, zinc 22.51%. Recovery rate of lead is 91.27%, and Recovery rate of zinc is 93.77%. We discuss the disposing scheme of lead-zinc mixed concentrated 1 and lead-zinc mixed concentrated 2 finally.
