In this paper, High strength steel as experimental material, In order to research the droplet transfer characteristics and electric arc character during the hybrid welding. Shooting and collecting the whole welding process by high-speed cameras and Quality analyzer Hanover mess, Getting the Influence and regulation between droplet transfer character、plasma shape and welding parameters; Getting the corresponding relationship between droplet transfer character、electric arc character and the welding electric signal by analyzing the electric signals. The results showed that:the mode of droplet transfer is determined by arc energy, the frequency and size of droplet transfer is decided by the laser power, but the distance between laser and arc will influence the welding heat source, lead to the droplet transfer character and electric arc character changed, The best welding quality often reached is2mm to4mm. The arc energy is greater than the effect of laser power in plasma size, but the induction and compression of laser on the arc should not be ignored, because it is the key to improve the welding quality and stability; Welding electrical signal contains abundant information, and Current and voltage curve can reflect the stability of the welding process, probability density distribution of arc voltages and current can reflect the droplet transfer character, probability density distribution of arc current and voltages converges toward center if the welding process is stability, and both sides of the curve is very low; The curve will offset towards the right direction if the more short circuit transfer produced during the welding process.
