Wiping process is critical process in the hot dip galvanizing line. It is difficult for the traditional wiping method to meet the requirements of high-speed production. Electromagnetic wiping technology is a relatively new wiping method, which has the advantage of simple control, high precision, uniform zinc coating, good concentricity etc. Based on the above, the paper mainly studies electromagnetic induction wiping technology and its implementation.First, the development of hot dip galvanizing process and the traditional wiping methods are introduced in brief. The advantages and disadvantages are analyzed. The electromagnetic induction wiping process solutions is proposed. And the development of electromagnetic wiping technology is described.Secondly, the working principle of single-phase and three-phase electromagnetic wiping program is discussed. Through finite element analysis software Ansoft Maxwell, the normal force, the tangential force and the eddy current power characteristics are simulated and analyzed in detail. And the results show the design and implementation of electromagnetic wiping device.Finally, the three-phase inverter solution based on the electromagnetic wiping technology is proposed. Using series resonant load matching and the digital signal processor DSP TMS320F28035as the core control chip, dual-loop control strategy and phase shift control strategy are applied to control the output current. An experimental prototype is designed based on the theoretical analysis. The results show that the scheme is stable, verifying the theoretical analysis.
