Ocean covers two-thirds of the global area, and it has very rich resources. Currently, to develop the marine is the most urgent and important task for any countries. All the countries in the world are looking for an effectively way to solve the lack of resources, the deterioration of the global environment, population expansion. And the effective way is to utilize the marine scientifically and rationally. The method to monitor the marine environment is very complex and expensive. But how to use these high value and hard-won date reasonably has become the most important work of the people to study the marine environment. The most traditional way is to store the data in the form of documents or papers which are selected by relevant experts to draw chart and analysis data chart. With the application of the computer, the monitoring data are stored in the database, and then used to draw visualization analysis chart by special drawing software. Those two kinds of data management cannot be used in comprehensive analysis. The efficiency of the two methods is relatively low, which results in very low utilization of the monitoring data. With the rapid development of GIS technology, the experts can apply GIS technology to manage the data and realize the visualization of monitoring. The purpose to analysis the monitoring date spatially, temporally, accurately and efficiently can be achieved by use GIS technology.This article deeply studies the application of GIS to visualize the monitoring data in the Marine environment monitoring data visualization, based on "Beihai area forecast information integration system". According to the heterogeneity characteristics of the monitoring data of Marine environment, this article uses reasonable ocean spatio-temporal data modeling for statistics and GIS for Visualization Analysis of the monitoring data of marine environment. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Study the processing methods and steps of marine environmental monitoring data.(2) According to the characteristics of the marine environmental monitoring data, and then select a different analysis model.(3) Studying GIS visualization diversified, which data source is based on Oracle database, includes in statistical data visualization, vector data visualization and surface data visualization.
