In recent years, China’s rapid economic growth which has stimulated the development and utilization of domestic natural environment and resources greatly, but at the same time the slope which has formed between it take lots of loss and safety hazards for people’s production and life, so the slope of governance is imperative.This paper base on the high slope stability analysis to The Hai zhou opencast mine, and given the result of the safety factor to measure the stability of the slope, then optimized design the reinforcement of the slope in order to obtain the best reinforcement.The stability evaluation:After the field visit for The Hai zhou opencast mine, selected100meters long from the west cross-section E20of the South working slope as an study object, using the limit equilibrium method and the numerical method to analysis the cross-section. Firstly, based on the limit equilibrium method using GEO-SLOPE software to establish Mohr-Coulomb model, then measure the stability of the slope and obtain the safety factor. Secondly, based on the numerical method using ANSYS software to establish finite element model for the same cross-section, and then obtain the safety factor though the strength reduction calculation. Finally, comparing the results of two different methods, we can see that GEO-SLOPE software is availability for engineering.Reinforcement scheme design:Through the cut slope to reduce the pressure and the slope angle, but after that it could not satisfy the requirements of the limit value of the safety factor, but because of the certain constraints there is no certain to slope cutting governance. So using pressure slope toe、add anchor cable and anti-slide pile to reinforce the slope, select the five important factors of the three measures as study object, then using orthogonal optimize method to design the best plan, at last based on the limit value of the safety factor selecting the chestiest plan.Though this paper for the stability analysis to the slope, we can obtain the GEO-SLOPE software is availability for engineering, though the orthogonal optimization design and control the economic costs of the reinforcement plan can get the most excellent reinforcement plan, it is value for engineering reference.
