Ecological Land Quality Evaluation And Structure Optimization Of Central Town In Guangzhou City

The rapid growth of economy and urbanization have occupied plenty of ecological land,and destroyed the original structure and spatial pattern of natural environment, which will impactits function significantly, weaken the efficiency of ecological land, decrease the quality of it, andeven imperial the sustainable development of ecosystem. To monitor the quality of regionalecological land is the basis to proceed to all the protection and recovery of ecosystem. Therefore,spatial optimization deployment becomes a necessary work when we try to make the best use ofecological efficiency through rational allocation of the types and spatial forms of ecological land.This article selects Central Towns of Guangzhou City as objects of study, and analyzes thequality of their ecological land through its volume, pattern of type and spatial form; then it addsin the factor of terrain, evaluates the quality of ecological land comprehensively, probes into thevariances of ecosystem quality among every town, and presents the strategy of optimizing spatialstructure of ecological land to lead the rational march of city development and construction. Thestudy results as below:Construction of ecological quality evaluation method: this paper begins with singleecological quality factor evaluation, then overlaps terrain factor of the study area forcomprehensive evaluation on ecological quality accordingly. During single ecological qualityfactor evaluation, three factors of ecological land quantity, ecosystem service value (ecologicalland types reflect differences in the structure) of each type and ecological land landscapestructure were selected for evaluation. It’s concluded that comprehensive evaluation method canreflect ecological quality of ecological land in study area more objectively, get more meaningfulresearch results, and contribute to more scientific optimization recommendations.Central town ecological land ecological quality evaluation results: on the whole, the totalecological land of study area is wide and with high ecological quality; but it varies among alltowns as natural factor and geographical location of them are different. According to ecologicalquality index, ecological quality of study area is divided into three categories of high, medium and low for analysis. Areas with high ecological quality are mainly townships located in southernand northern Guangzhou City, where there’re number of ecological lands, mainly water andforest (with high value of ecosystem services), better landscape plaque connectivity, and largerecological land spots blocks; while the ecological quality of some central towns close to centralpart of city is poor, where there’re less ecological land, cracked ecological land plaque, and lessland with high ecosystem service value.
