Currently, platform compounds mainly from the petroleum resources such as oil gain, large amounts of non-renewable resources consumption, dominated by oil chemical industrialcosts are rising steadily. Choose renewably production energy and organic chemicals, determining new platform compounds, aiming at low carbon economy, realizing sustainabledevelopment is the goal of green chemistry and important research content.5hydroxyl methylfurfural (5-HMF) is a kind of important chemical raw materials, its molecule containing abaldheaded and a hydroxyl methyl, can pass hydrogenation, oxidation dehydrogenation andhydrolysis etc chemical reaction, synthetic many useful compounds and polymer materials, isexpected to become a new type of platform based on biomass resources of compound. At first, the raw materials for preparation of5-HMF is fructose. The raw materials ofpreparation of5-HMF are also mostly fructose and glucose. But with cellulose as rawmaterials directly system in the process of5-HMF most need through the use of inorganicacid or organic solvent such as high cost, environmental pollution and post-treatment difficultmeans. In recent years in the green mild controllable conditions with cellulose even furtherwith straw to produce5-HMF become the study hotspot and focus, but at present about suchpublic reports are rarely seen.Room-temperature ionic liquids (Ills) are organic salts composed of cations and anions, hich are usually in the liquid at room temperature. As one very promisingenvironment-friendly, good solvent properties, Ionic liquid was widely recognized by thescientific community In recent years, Ionic liquids have low vapor pressure, non-volatile,non-flammable, good solubility. With many types of ionic liquids, can be designed, it has notonly as a good ionic liquids green solvents and some catalytic activity. This research paper will mainly study the dissolution of Ionic Liquids microcrystallinecellulose factors. Microcrystalline cellulose dissolved in ionic liquids in, and directly into the5-HMF.Firstly we synthesized six imidazolium ionic liquid, and the dissolution experimentswere carried out. The solubility microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) in ionic liquids was studied respectively. The process of dissolution was observed by polarized light microscopy. In thiswork, the process of microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) dehydration to5-HMF by usingBmimCl as solvent and acid ionic liquid [Bmim][HSO4] and CrCl3as catalysts was studied. The effects of the temperature, reaction time, catalyst content, water content were investigatedrespectively. The optimized conditions of this routine are as follows: Under normal conditions,BmimCl content is0.4g, MCC content is0.02g, adding [Bmim][HSO4] content is1g andCrCl3content is0.4g at130℃. Reaction time4h and molar ratio of5-HMF is37%.
