Huating mining area is rich in coal resources, mining development plays a decisive role in the local economy development。But for a long time, because of environmental protection consciousness, mine environmental protection regulations are not perfect, management lags behind, in addition to the comprehensive factors affecting mining conditions,as mining method, production process, technology and equipment, the mining enterprises make an important contribution to Pingliang city and the economic development of Gansu province,at the same time, the mine environment has been seriously damaged.Daliu coal mine of Huating coal industry Refco Group Ltd is located in the southwest of Ankou~Xinyao coal mine,which is under construction. The administrative ares division of Daliu coal mine belongs to Chongxin and Huating County. This coal mine has325.31Mt geological reserves,196.65Mt recoverable reserves,58.5years of design service life.Its coal quality is in fine.The main mineable coal seam has large thickness and mezzo dip angle.Its geological structure and hydrogeologic condition is simple; the coal seam gas content is relatively low.All in all,this coal mine has good mining condition. However, the future of coal mining will result in the goaf, and break the existing ecological system to a certain extent balance.This paper starts from the analysis of coal mining subsidence, in-depth study of the occurrence characteristics, coal mining technology conditions, arrangement of mining area; coal seam roof and floor are analyzed in detail and its engineering geological characteristics of the overlying rock (soil) layer. Caused by coal bed mining strata is discussed, the surface damage form and the formation and characteristics of surface subsidence basin, this paper discusses the main factors influencing subsidence.By using the probability integral method,this paper predicts Daliu coal mining especially the first coal mining surface deformation caused by exploitation, analyzes the subsidence of surface morphology, water, land use, road and transmission line, soil erosion, ground built (structure) influence of the building. At last,we propose solutions.The research has important guiding significance to carry out the future production settlement in Daliu mine and the similar work of research in this area.
