For a long time, Shanxi is a big coal production province in our nation. Its coal production and shipments outside of the first rank, made a significant contribution for our country’s construction and development of national economy. However, due to coal mining, there appear many mined-out areas which destroy the formation of the original stress balance. With the passage of time and the accumulation of pregnant disaster conditions, surface deformation, subsidence and other disasters threat are inevitably emergenced. Domestic mining surface subsidence of individual research projects more, less research on large areas, in this study, the research scope of the county, followed predicted on the basis of integrity and coherence of the structure of land formations, to predict the scope and depth of mining subsidence and to assess the impact of regional ecological environment.Lingshi County, Shanxi Province as the study area, collected information of coal enterprises in mineral resources, mining range nuclear, coal and formation characteristics and so on, macro merged all mine, combined with ground deformation prediction rules and methods to predict the study area may form surface deformation range and depth; applied fuzzy mathematics, selected the appropriate evaluation, constructed evaluation index system, introduced the concept of weak fuzzy consistent matrix, classified ecological environmental impact as three assessment levels, serious extent, more serious and not serious, applied Triangle Whiten Function to construct the evaluation model of subsidence on the extent of regional ecological environmental impact.Surface deformation prediction results showed that Lingshi County area of ground subsidence caused by mining-affected zone of about309km2, accounting for25.7%of the total area, the maximum subsidence value of11688mm; model evaluation results showed that four partitions environment by mining subsidence are more serious level. Based subsidence prediction, develop a variety of treatment programs, in order to achieve the purpose of the effective mitigation of ecological damage to the environment. Lingshi County’s development model is similar to most of our cities which rely on coal enterprises; there is some reference value and practical significance in assessing the extent of surface subsidence impact on the ecological environment.
