Poly(Glycerol-Sebacate) series of different proportion of glycerol were grafted with thesame ratio of curcumin by polycondensation reaction. The microstructure of the series PGSgrafted with curcumin were characterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR), X-ray diffractionanalysis (XRD), the gel permeation chromatography (GPC). The series polymer`s hydrophilicproperties, thermal properties, mechanical properties, degradation performance and drugrelease performance were analyzed through contact angle measurements in the static water, differential scanning calorimetry analysis (DSC), the tensile test, degradation experiments insimulated human body fluid and the scanning electron microscope (SEM).Experimental results show that, with the increase of glycerol proportion, the inherentorder degree of PGS grafted with curcumin increased and then decreased, the gel swellingranged from1.86%to11.01%.The performance of the polymers changed. With the increase of glycerol proportion, thewater contact angle of the series samples ranged from35°to66°, the water absorption of thepolymer ranged from0.4%to3.6%, this indicated that the material has good hydrophilicproperties; the elasticity modulus changed in the range of0.44~12.90MPa; the weight lossof each sample were linear in the degradation process at the beginning, then the weight keptstable, after54days`degradation, the sample weight loss rate ranged from1.94%to10.70%,the drug release rate ranges from0.99%to14.62%.
