It is a consensus that green logistics is very important for the global low-carbon economy and suastainable social development. As an important part of the modern economy, Logistics is not only a big energy consumer, but also the main source of CO2emissions. Therefore, to calculate the CO2emissions of the logistics system and seek measures for energy saving and CO2emission-reduction is an important research topic. This paper studies the measurement of CO2emissions and the related optimization mesures, the main research and innovation are as follows:(1) This paper summarizes different calculation methods for energy consumption and CO2emissions of transportation, storage and the whole carbon foot-print of the supply chain. According to the relative statistical data of transportation and logistics in China, the energy consumption and CO2emissions of different transportation modes has been analyzed with the statistical analysis software SPSS. The result shows that the CO2emissions per unit cargo turnover is Road> Waterways> Rail.(2) Combined with advanced practices of some entities at home and abroad, this paper has proposed some suggestions for green logistics from3different levels which are macro-level, middle-level and micro-level.(3) An equilibrium assignment model for the integrated logistics network considering CO2emissions is established. In this model, the generalized cost is composed of transportation cost and environmental cost of emissions. Frank-wolf algorithm is used to solve this problem. The result of the numerical example shows that the carbon tax is helpful to reduce energy consumption and CO2emissions of the regional logistics network, and promote logistics users to choose greener transportation modes.
