Wugou coal mine is located in the south-west of TongTing anticline in Sunan-Linhaitong coal field, which is typical Huaibei coal mine type and threaten by all kinds of limestone aquifer inrushing water with high water pressure. Therefore, doing some research on both macro and micro hydrogeological condition and taking some effective prevention and measures for water inrush accordingly have an important significance for how to mine coal resources safely and effectively.Based on consulting foreign and domestic literatures involved in research status of limestone aquifer inrushing water, No.10coal seam of Wugou coal mine in WanBei is taken as the research object, and some important information,including hydraulic relations among limestone aquifers, property of water-bearing and water-resisting of different scale faults, and water source of recharging limestone aquifer, has been obtained by compiling and analyzing the geological and hydrogeological materials relative to the coal field as well as the foreign region. Moreover, information of connectivity among blocks also has been obtained, which is controlled by faults with analyzing different responses to different aquifers during drainage-grouting of working faces. After the boundary,structure,thickness and condition of supply-runoff-discharge about limestone aquifer are analyzed and generalized,the hydrogeology conceptual model and the mathematical model of limestone aquifer have been established, and then, its aquifer parameters have been identified through Visual Modflow software simulation.As for the inrushing water disaster involved in1021,1023and1025work faces from limestone aquifer, and according to above models, combining with water inrush coefficient, the effect of limestone water drainage under two designs was calculated and evaluated and also property of the groundwater flow has been forecast under mining safely. Besides, prevention methods and technologies of limestone water-inrush of No.10coal seam floor have been summarized systematically, which includes the DC electrical exploration, audio frequency electric perspective technique, the advanced detecting technology of radio wave, and union technique of water drainage-depressurization and grunting-consolidation and so on. All these are the most effective means and measures for how to mine coal seam under high water pressure from limestone aquifer.Finally, according to the quality characteristic of the different bearing-aquifers,the software called "the system of discrimination and analysis of water-inrush sources in Wugou coal mine",has been designed and developed, which provides the most effective method for analyzing water-inrush rapidly.
