In North China coal field, when mining lower coal group, Taiyuan formation limestone water of lower coal group floor will bring great threats to mine security. How to prevent effectively water inrush from coal seam floor means a great deal to safe mining of coal.Based on consulting relevant documents at home and abroad about dewatering test, drainage for decreasing pressure and prevention on the floor limestone water inrush and so on, the paper takes Huaibei Yangzhuang coal mine as an example, by analyzing the geological and hydro-geological conditions of Yangzhuang coalmine, dewatering test of No.6 coal seam floor limestone water from Taiyuan formation was conducted on Yangzhuang mine two level. By using results of dewatering test, water abundance of limestone water from Taiyuan formation, recharge amount of Ordovician limestone aquifer to Carboniferous limestone aquifer and flow field distribution of limestone aquifer from Taiyuan formation are analyzed; On the basis of these analysis, the hydrogeology conceptual model and the mathematical model of the simulation area have been established, hydrogeology parameters have been divided by using Visual MODFLOW software, and repeatedly adjust hydrogeology parameters until simulation calculation results approach to observation results.Then hydrogeology parameters and division condition are gained, furthermore drainage and decreasing pressure condition of Ⅲ61 mining area are analyzed, which provide hydrogeology basis for safe mining of No.6 coal.
